Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 September 2026
This is a pilot-stage document. It is not yet finalized, and has not yet completed formal legal review.
Sentio is not a medical device. If you or someone you support is in a medical or safety emergency, do not rely on Sentio. Contact emergency services or a crisis line immediately.
By creating an account or using Sentio, you agree to these terms. Please read them, especially the sections on medical care and this being a pilot.
1. What Sentio Is, and Is Not
Sentio is a support platform to help you and the people who care for you manage autism, ADHD, and other mental health and developmental conditions. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Some tools within Sentio are grounded in real research; where that's true, we say so directly in the app. Others are clearly labeled "pending clinical review," meaning they have not yet been formally reviewed by a healthcare professional. We are honest about this distinction throughout the app, and we ask you to take it seriously: nothing in Sentio replaces the advice of a qualified doctor, therapist, or other healthcare provider.
If you or someone you support is in a medical or safety emergency, do not rely on Sentio. Contact emergency services or a crisis line immediately.
2. This Is a Pilot
You're using an early version of Sentio, made available to a small group of invited testers. Things may not work perfectly. Features may change, be added, or be removed as we learn from this pilot. We'll do our best to communicate changes that matter, but this stage is, by nature, still being actively built and tested.
3. Your Account
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You're responsible for keeping your login secure. If you create a profile for someone else, you confirm you have the authority to do so, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Using Sentio Responsibly
Please don't use Sentio to: impersonate someone else; harass, harm, or endanger another person; upload content that isn't yours, or that's illegal; attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization; or misuse any part of the platform in a way that could harm other users, especially in the community and care-circle features. If you use a peer-support or community feature, remember that other users, especially those managing conditions like OCD or navigating addiction recovery, may be vulnerable in specific ways. Please be thoughtful.
5. Care Circle and Shared Information
If you invite someone into your care circle, or accept an invitation into someone else's, you're choosing to share specific information with them, exactly what you've enabled, and nothing more. Please only share access with people you genuinely trust.
6. Payment
If Sentio offers a paid subscription in the future, it will be clearly marked, and payment is handled securely through Stripe. Pilot testers are not currently charged for access to the platform.
7. Intellectual Property
The Sentio name, design, and content we've created belong to us. What you write, upload, or create in your own account (your journal entries, notes, and so on) belongs to you.
8. Limitation of Liability
Sentio is provided "as is," especially during this pilot phase. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in this section limits our responsibility for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or affects any rights you have that cannot legally be waived.
9. Ending Your Use of Sentio
You can stop using Sentio and delete your account at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access to the pilot for anyone who violates these terms or misuses the platform.
10. Changes to These Terms
Since this is a pilot, these terms may change as the platform develops. We'll let you know if something meaningfully changes.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania.
